I hope by next week this blog will be filled with pictures of women reading comics in public taken this Saturday on “Read Comics in Public Day”.

Here’s the background information on what we’re trying to do. We’re also featured on the official “Read Comics in Public” blog.

Twitter has been full of Tweets about the event and thanks to everyone who has spread the word including creators like Gail Simone, Ming Doyle, Jimmy Palmiotti, Hope Larson, Bryan Q. Miller, Jamal Igle, Dean Trippe and Jim Lee. And bloggers such as Johanna Draper Carlson, Heidi McDonald, Katrina Hill (Action Chick) and Geek Girl Diva and Comic Book Goddess.
